Now I have to figure out how to occupy myself until our wild ride of summer plans begin! I have about one day till then. This weekend we are having a garage sale, on Memorial day we have a party at our house, and we leave for Washington state in the beginning of June and are gone for about a month! Then I have a week to get ready to go to Mexico, before I leave for a week! Ahhhh! I am excited but I am hardly ever this busy!

I would like to get a summer job, but I wont be home for most of the summer so I don’t think that would work out! I would love it if I could get some babysitting jobs! Also this summer I am hoping to get my driving license and I have a feeling that I will have to start paying for my own insurance!

I am ready for summer!!

At first I was a little nervous because I haven’t been to the monastery many times and I was going to meet new people. I had a great time and made some new wonderful friends from All Saints in Chicago. We went to service on Saturday morning and evening and on Sunday morning, I really enjoyed the music and the beauty of the sanctuary. On Sunday we went and did our morning prayers in the little chapel by the cemetery which is amazingly beautiful. The girls we met also sing, but are much better than Anastasia and I, and we sang on walks, in the hallway and in our rooms! I had a wonderful time and wished that I didn’t have to leave so soon. I can’t wait until next year!

Last weekend my friend Anastasia and I used some henna that mom gave us all over our hands.  The henna is a little bit faded since we put it on a week ago.

I really enjoy doing henna and at some point would like to try to earn a little money by charging people. I said I would like to charge people but I have a really hard time charging my friends.
