Good Morning Dearest!

The All Saints group sends their love, we were so so so glad to meet you and Anastasia last weekend. Kelsie and I spent the rest of the week trying to sing but didn’t feel as full and beautiful without you and Anastasia singing along (especially since we had no sopranos and having two people singing the alto part never sounds good). We were quite desolate when you left us, and when we left it was even more depressing, but stumbling across this post really made me smile, so thank you.

I haven’t had a chance to look through all of your projects, but the fingerless gloves look great (I will have to find a way to coerce Kelsie into knitting me a pair…maybe if I buy the yarn and bribe her with something…hmmmm). In any case, your artistic talent is astounding, I feel more creative just knowing someone like you

Well I’ve gotten a few babysitting jobs lined up to watch Linda and Leo and I will also watch cousin Kana. I hadn’t considered giving lessons, good idea though. I’ve been doing some mending for mom to earn a few bucks too. I would take donations if anyone wants to help out, but I feel weird asking for money. I don’t think I’ll be driving to Ohio, one I don’t think I can fit 6,000 aluminum cans in the car and two I don’t know how worth while it would be cause mom and dad would make me pay for gas.

Oh, and I am in 10th grade.

9th grade, 6 weeks to get $600. Hm.

Road trip to Ohio, hit a recycle center and load up 6,000 aluminum cans? Legally and ethically dubious, but you know it will work.

There’s begging. I mean… canvassing friends and family for donations toward your worthy cause.

Can you rustle up anybody who needs lessons from you? English, design, knitting, anything? They’ll come to you.

Babysitting? Are your folks ok with you keeping strangers’ babies? They’ll also come to you.

I also have a hard time waiting to give presents, especially if it is something that I have made! What do you think of Northanger Abbey? I think it is quite different from the other Austin books. I was just talking to your Aunt Sarah about it the other day.
