Here are the henna designs I did over the weekend.
Well, I am still doing henna! And lots of it! I am going to have a stand at the Festival of the Forks in two weeks and I have had a lot to do to prepare. I had to make a portfolio with all my patterns and test those patterns on people and then take pictures. Today I finished making the sign that I will hang up. Here are some pictures!!
For the past week I’ve been working on a few projects, henna and knitting. Last weekend my friend Anastasia and I used some henna that mom gave us all over our hands. The henna is a little bit faded since we put it on a week ago.

This is the pattern Anastasia did on my left hand.
I really enjoy doing henna and at some point would like to try to earn a little money by charging people. I said I would like to charge people but I have a really hard time charging my friends.
The picture with the bird in it can also be a dragon if you turn the wing into the eye as shown in the picture below.
I hennaed my hair yesterday, it is a nice dark brown, I am glad that it is not much of a difference in color. I was rather nervous when I dyed my hair not knowing what it would turn out like. I kept picturing Anne of Green Gables with green hair. I am glad it worked and am quite happy with how it turned out. I will try to post pictures later.
I’ve been doing a lot of henna designing the last few days. There are henna designs on paper, on me, and some head scarves that I made for Anastasia and I. Soon there will be henna embroidered on my clothing!! Tomorrow, if I can get my henna to work I will do henna for people at church tomorrow, if I can’t get it to work I may just dye my hair. I don’t want to waste the $7 I spent on the henna powder! Time for experimenting!!!
Lately I’ve been doing a lot of henna tattoos, I am slowed down at the moment because I ran out of paste! I posted some pictures of the one I did on mom on my pictures page. I am working on designing some more patterns and I really like the peacocks. I am considering setting up a stand at the fair and charging for it. I will need the money for my clothing and my insurance which I will have to start paying in a week as soon as I get my license. I could also do henna tattoos on request but I am afraid I would have to charge, I hate charging friends! If you want to contact me my e-mail address is on my contacts page! Well I’m off, see ya!!
