I am trying to expand my music library and would like to know what kinds of music you would recommend. I’d appreciate any music and I will listen to it on Grooveshark or Playlist before I decide whether I am at all interested in adding it to my music.
Thank you!
Uncle Nathan, I really liked the music you gave to the kids!

Now that I am older I am starting to need to earn money, for replacing old clothes and saving up for a missions trip to Mexico next summer. I should probably start saving for car insurance and gas for next year, this year I am lucky, mom and dad are paying for it this year.
I have been earning money by babysitting Kana and a little boy from church, and making embroidered headscarves (bandannas) and selling them. I will try to post pictures, maybe even post some information for ordering one.
If you have any other ideas of things you think I could do to earn some money please let me know. I would be very thankful!

I’ve been home for a few days now, after going to Minneapolis and family camp. I really enjoyed my time, but I am very happy to be back. I had quite an adventure trying to get to Minneapolis, here is what happened:
Mom and I arrived at the airport at about 11:00 am, to be there an hour and 30 min before my flight. Mom was allowed a pass so that she could come to my gate with me, so we both went through security and went to my gate. We ate lunch and looked in some of the shops and then headed back to the gate. When we got back we found out that the airline had switched my flight to a smaller plane, so I and 49 other people were bumped. I was then put on standby for another flight two hours later, so mom and I went and found my gate again and did more walking around. Consequently I did not get on this flight either, and I was put on standby yet again. The flight happened to be another two hours later. After missing the second flight I was having a very hard time not breaking down, praise be to God that mom was with me! Now I understand why people hate flying so much! My flight back went as planned, although this time I went by myself. I found that I like the flying part, I just don’t like the airport. The landscape looked like a great big green mosaic.
After I got back we went straight to family camp for the week I had lots of fun, and this year I did not return home with a sprained wrist or any other injuries. I am glad to be home at last!

I am really excited about flying to Minneapolis on Thursday, to visit my Aunt and Uncle. Each day I think of more things to pack, I need to be careful though because Aunt Sarah and I are going to go shopping. I am happy that my flight will not have any layovers, and hopefully no extra complications.

I hennaed my hair yesterday, it is a nice dark brown, I am glad that it is not much of a difference in color. I was rather nervous when I dyed my hair not knowing what it would turn out like. I kept picturing Anne of Green Gables with green hair. I am glad it worked and am quite happy with how it turned out. I will try to post pictures later.

Today the rest of our big tree was taken down, thankfully it was intentional and not by the wind!! Now we just have a big gap in our front yard, sigh, oh well. It was a landmark while it stood not just for us but for other people to. At least I can say ” Thank God it didn’t hurt anyone!”

I’ve been doing a lot of henna designing the last few days. There are henna designs on paper, on me, and some head scarves that I made for Anastasia and I. Soon there will be henna embroidered on my clothing!! Tomorrow, if I can get my henna to work I will do henna for people at church tomorrow, if I can’t get it to work I may just dye my hair. I don’t want to waste the $7 I spent on the henna powder! Time for experimenting!!!

Last night during a big thunder storm, our big majestic sugar maple in the front of the yard fell over. One of the big branches fell across the road, causing two speeding drivers to hit it. One of the cars was not seriously injured having just driven through the leafy part towards the end of the branch, the other car had to be towed away because it hit the trunk and bent the axle. I don’t think anyone was seriously injured, but I can’t say so for sure because I slept through the whole thing. I would have probably woken up if I hadn’t been up already last night because mom made use go down to the basement because of a tornado warning.

We are home at last! Although I did have lots of fun farm sitting. I would have probably enjoyed it more if I hadn’t had a cold that developed into a sinus infection, it feels like someone punched me on the right side of my face!
well it doesn’t right now so that is good. I am super excited about getting back to church and seeing everyone again. Two weeks seems like such a long time!!!! It will be nice to be on a normal routine for a while, at least till I fly to Minneapolis!
No more picking beans for what felt like 4 hours!!!! hurray!!!!
